aires - festival of Mexican contemporary music

Aires is the festival of Mexican contemporary music, a plural space open to all trends and all voices. The music of young composers and performers has a relevant place in our programs. The festival has been held annually since 2016 in Mexico City. 

The 2025 edition will take place from August 15 to 29 and presents several concerts with music by young composers. Check out here all the concerts of Aires 2024. 

The program of the festival is integrated through an annual call for scores. A committee discusses the applications and chooses the participants. The call for scores is published annually in March on our website and on our social media. The festival is held entirely in Spanish.
